We chose Addie's because its small, homey atmosphere seemed a good fit for my mom who had dementia. Even though we prepared mom the best we could, the first couple of weeks were difficult for her. The staff was so patient and caring with her and reassuring with us. Mom did settle in well and lived there for three years before she passed away. During that time I appreciated the good communication. We were called when there were any health concerns about mom and also we could call whenever we had questions. This was especially good during the Covid shutdown when visiting wasn't possible. The staff was friendly and I liked that there weren't big turnovers.
